Most people don’t understand the degree of mental and emotional concentration that goes into painting. Sometimes it’s an exercise of control. Sometimes it’s letting go. I’m pleased to present the completion of my third painting of the year. It might not look it, but I feel I’ve accomplished a lot. I started this in late August, but the start of the school year got in the way of my creative process. I’m dedicating 2025 to taking back my studio space from storage. We’ll be purging, baby!
